Four 1.5-hour classes. Online. Ages 55+

Students will learn a variety of watercolor techniques and how to apply them to a painting, including washes, wet-on-wet and dry brushwork, glazing and color mixing. Practice techniques during each class, then complete a small example of each one. Then students take what they’ve learned to create a complete painting. Supply list provided for students to purchase before the beginning 10 Hours of outside preparation: *0-1 **1-2 ***2 or more of class. Class is offered in partnership with The Art Studio, the arts education center of New Castle County’s Department of Community Services. Note: This course requires an additional fee of $35 payable to the Art Studio. A payment link will be sent to class members prior to the first class.
