Four 1.5-hour classes. In person, New Castle County Art Studio. Ages 55+

Students will learn a variety of watercolor techniques and how to apply them to a painting, including washes, wet-on-wet and dry brushwork, glazing and color mixing. Practice techniques during each class, then complete a small example of each one. Then students take what they’ve learned to create a complete painting. Supply list provided for students to purchase before the beginning of class. Class is offered in partnership with The Art Studio, the arts education center of New Castle County’s Department of Community Services. Note: This course requires an additional fee of $35 payable to the Art Studio. A payment link will be sent to class members prior to the first class.
